Summer 2020: from 4th July until 6st September
Weekday closure: open every day during the running of the Funivia Freccia nel Cielo cable car
Opening hours:
Open from the arrival of the first ascent of the cable car until the departure of the last descent of the cable car in the afternoon.
Possibility of dinner upon reservation.
A historical hut of Cortina, constructed in 1936, it was one of the first mountain huts built for skiers.
Completely renovated in 2003, the hut is an excellent point of refreshment along the longest ski slope in Cortina, with its 1618m drop.
You can admire one the the most spectacular views of the Ampezzo Valley and of the Dolomites from the vast terrace.
There are seating places outside on the terrace during the summer and also in the Winter.
There is also an internal dining room that can cater for 70 people, ideal for families and groups.
You can reach the Rifugio Col Drusciè mountain hut in not even 10 minutes by taking the Freccia nel Cielo cable car to the first station, or by walking on the mountain paths number 406, 410 and 413.
From the hut its also possible to continue the cable car ride up to Ra Valles and the top of the Tofana mountain.
The cable car station is near the Olympic Ice Stadium.
Food
The Rifugio Col Drusciè Mountain Hut offers traditional cuisine with local specialities and grilled meat.
The elegant wooden dining room is furnished according to local mountain traditions.
The service is very well looked after and the personnel are always careful about the clienteles requirements.
